DELIVERY OF GOODS
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, excluding all Public Holidays, by Australia Post and other reputable courier services. We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, so please provide a residential or business street address.
Where standard delivery is selected, we will use our best efforts to dispatch your gift box within one business day.
For those in the Adelaide area, we offer free pick up on Friday afternoons after 4pm (or at other times by arrangement), from 17 Ruthven Avenue, Adelaide SA 5000. Enter the code PICKUP at checkout and $10.95 will be deducted from your cart. We will then email you to arrange collection. Please note that if you arrive at any other time, your gift box will not be there. We can usually do same day pick up if we receive your order before 12 noon.
We offer FREE standard shipping on all of our pre-designed gift boxes.
Standard shipping rates for our 'design your own' gift boxes are as follows:
SA: $10.95 inc. gst per gift box (**see promo codes below if you are ordering multiple gift boxes)
All other states: $12.95 inc. gst per gift box (**see promo codes below if you are ordering multiple gift boxes)
Express shipping is available for $23.95 per box for all states.
Next business day delivery is available if the delivery address falls within the Australia Post Express Shipping Network and the order is received by 12 noon ACST on business days (to allow sufficient time to pick and wrap your order and arrange shipping). Orders received after this time will be dispatched the next business day, and arrive the next business day after that.
Express Shipping is only available for delivery addresses within the 'Australia Post Express Post Network' and is subject to availability of stock. Please note that Australia Post does not guarantee next business day delivery to remote areas and roadside delivery addresses. For further information on Australia Post Express Post delivery guidelines refer http://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/delivery-areas.html.
We take no responsibility for ensuring that a nominated delivery address is within the Australia Post Express Post network. If a nominated delivery address is not within the Australia Post Express Post network and the order has been posted, we are not able to refund Express Shipping costs.
Please note that if you are ordering more than one 'design your own' gift box to be delivered to the same metropolitan address using standard delivery or are a corporate customer with volume orders, we offer shipping discounts.
2BOXES: use this code if you are shipping 2 'dyo' boxes to the same metropolitan address and $10.95 will be deducted from your cart. This is approximately areas within 10km of Australian CBD's. If the address is not considered metropolitan by our couriers we will be in touch immediately to let you know and the standard shipping rates will be applied.
3BOXES: use this code if you are shipping 3 'dyo' boxes to the same metropolitan address and $17.95 will be deducted from your cart. This is approximately areas within 10km of Australian CBD's. If the address is not considered metropolitan by our couriers we will be in touch immediately to let you know and the standard shipping rates will be applied.
(*please note that these promo codes only apply to multiple DESIGN YOUR OWN gift boxes sent to the same metropolitan address, and will not be honoured for any other purpose)
If you are ordering more boxes/have bulk orders, please get in touch with us and we will arrange further shipping discounts for you (because we hate shipping costs as much as you do!).
**Please note that during Christmas and other busy periods of the year, shipping is likely to take longer than the above estimates - so please take this into account when placing your oder.
OTHER SHIPPING INFORMATION
Correct delivery details
It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery address is provided. This is particularly important for deliveries to hospital wards. Please include as much information as possible to help us deliver your gift box on a timely basis including full and accurate patient name, complete wing and ward details.
We will replace or refund a gift box that is incorrectly addressed by us, however, where delivery is made to an incorrect address supplied to us, we accept no responsibility for the mistake.
Orders returned to Bundle + Twine due to an incorrect or insufficient delivery address, inability to access a property, failure to contact a courier after a delivery attempt or failure to collect from an Australia Post outlet, will incur a re-delivery charge at the standard shipping rate.
Authority to leave
In the absence of specific instructions, other than deliveries containing alcohol, typically we provide an ‘authority to leave’ your gift in a secure place at the nominated delivery address if unattended, or with colleagues if delivered to a workplace. If there is no secure location at the nominated delivery address, a card will be left requesting the recipient to collect the delivery from the nearest Australia Post outlet or to telephone and arrange re-delivery with the courier service. Re-delivery fees may apply. If you do not want to use an ‘authority to leave’, please advise us at checkout, noting that re-delivery fees may apply.
Gifts containing alcohol
Deliveries containing alcohol must be received at the delivery address by a person who is 18 years or over. The recipient may be required to provide a valid identification for proof of age and sign for the product.
Deliveries containing alcohol cannot be left unattended at premises. If re-delivery is required, there may be an additional re-delivery fee.
We make every endeavour to deliver on your preferred date, however, we cannot guarantee delivery dates as they are controlled by Australia Post or Courier Services and vary according to location. If your gift does not arrive on your preferred date, we are unable to cancel or credit your order. However, or urgent delivery requests outside of the timeframes indicated above please contact us and we will do everything we can to help.
